I think Bob Murray could get anything he wanted for either. Since Shatt is currently the hottest thing on the market for D, and is a UFA at the end of the year. Vat and Manson both have years left on contracts.

I don't know about seeing Vats 4-5 times a year. Bad things can come from that. Also, ebs is having an okay year.




Agreed. We are in a great position with the amount of young talent we have that is protected already. Getting that next forward would help us a ton then we would more than likely lose Vermette unless we offer Vegas a pick to take Boll.

The Ducks can do better. Eberle isn't a fit in ANA and EDM has to overpay for us to trade Vatanen within the division.

Vatanen and Eberle are both having down years. I think it would be a pretty fair trade. I'd rather trade Vatanen over Manson because we don't have many shut down guys coming up through the pipeline, but Montour could grow into a Vatanen replacement soon.
