Habs post-expansion

Created by: Jjthegally
Team: 2021-22 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 22, 2021
Published: Jul. 22, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I don’t really know Dvorak value but I think it is pretty fair. Poehling would have a bigger opportunity and Braddock and Schueneman were decent in the AHL. A 1st rounder is also pretty good.
I like Fabbro and the return being a similar D (not as good and more expensive), a decent prospect and a high round pick and a mid round pick.
Sammy Blais is a QC guy so it would be nice. Byron has pretty good value especially at 50% along with a half decent center. You could also ad a 4th or 5th.
Savard and Romy pairing is great. Romy likes to go forward and is very physical along with Savard being responsible.
Take Bernier if Price misses a chunk of the season.
There is rumors that Drouin wants to come back playing with the Habs.
You get a very nice QC that could make a run at a WC spot in the Atlantic.

On what planet is Dauphin a half decent center? Leave him out and the Blues probably consider it before passing.

It's a late 1st and I'm not sold on Poehling. It's an easy no from me.

Yeah, and he's already 26 with only three NHL games played since 2017. He's an AHLer with no value, especially to a team loaded with centers even before they probably re-sign Bozak.

Seems like Seattle wld gladly take him. They’re team is made up of career AHLers pushing 30yrs old who have less than 40games of NHL experience 😂
