Neither Philipp Grubauer or Gabriel Landeskog are signing those lowball offers, On the open market Grubauer gets 5 x $6,500,000 and Landeskog gets 7 x $8,500,000 if not slightly more. Good luck convincing either to take less to stay in Colorado Landeskog had already said no to 7 x $7,000,000 so he's not accepting less money for one more year.

I feel like Kuemper would be a replacement for Gru leaving. If Gru is staying its a tad redundant but I can see why the player was targeted

I can also see your goal with Savard but his footspeed is SO bad that I don't think he would be a good fit and a player in that role likely shouldn't get that big of a deal as ones who were like Larsson and Oleksiak are now gone

Agreed, I’m not a massive fan of Savard but was mostly just pointing to that type of a player, someone with a little edge that can play in the second pair. I don’t know exactly who that guy is, might have to be a trade but mainly setting aside that cap space/roster spot.

One more dman is needed for sure, just a question of who and how much it’ll cost.
