Likely a boring offseason

Description
Jets will likely have another boring offseason, with Savard likely signing in MTL it’s time to look elsewhere. Added Tatar on a 1 year prove it deal. Also a hot take, but I think kovacevic (listed as LD but shoots right) will surprise and really take a run at the 3rd RD spot. I spoke with someone within Jets management who was very impressed with his season in the AHL. Source: Trust Me (in all seriousness I did actually speak to someone within management who liked him)

If they go out and make a signing at D, it’s likely another bottom pairing guy so I didn’t even bother and went with youth. Although Maurice would never let this happen LOL.

I think it’s likely Copp gets close to the same deal as goodrow. Heinola likely starts in the AHL again unless he has a great camp. Perfetti likely gets to play in the AHL again as he played over 20 games last year, he’ll get his 9 games with the Jets.

Lewis is brought back to sit in the PB. Signed a better 4th line depth guy in Sutter who can PK and be a good option. (Let me know if there’s a better choice, or if he needs more $)

Jets usually like to keep some cap space to make moves throughout the year and at the TDL.

Absolute ****ing joke we never saw Ehlers-Scheifele-Laine put together, Wheeler would have no part of that though.

We did actually…. Defensive liability and 2nd line was then trash

Yeah 100% agreed PLD wasn’t good… but still better then Laine was

Don’t know what u expect from Wheeler… he and Laine mostly clashed due to Laines laziness

Ehlers wouldn’t have taken the next step if Laine didn’t leave

If Perfetti isn’t ready resign Stastny

PLD sucked, was no better then Laine was.

Laine worked hard in his last season, don't know what you're talking about, Wheeler's ego couldn't handle that Laine was the star and he wasn't.

I don't think so, the growth was there in both their games in the 19-20 season.

Just sign the guy that bailed on the team once already, sure okay if he does but Stastny isn't the player he once was, would be good or keep around as center insurance though.

Barely ever did and the Jets top line has been outscored for years, Connor-Scheif-Wheeler is a defensive trainwreck.
