Description
If this situation ends up coming to fruition then its going to have to be an interesting off season. I think Rask retiring is more likely than Krejci. Rask still hasn't gotten his surgery yet and maybe this last injury could push him to retire.

As for restructuring the roster, I thought about trying to move DeBrusk in a package for a 2C but I dont know whose really available, if anyone. I haven't really been paying attention to news/rumors so idk if Bruins are still in this race. But I think Senko will go for something similar to a package like this. DeBrusk is a solid middle 6 winger. He's struggled for a bit but he was a great player his first 2 1/2-3 seasons. Its definitely a risk for STL but I think with Senko requesting a trade and his health playing a factor STL will have to receive riskier assets. Loheri (LHD) I dont know much about, I dont know his ceiling. ive seen people say he played better than expected this past season, so there seems to be potential there. The 2nd round pick was just a sweetener for the retained salary, id probably give up a 1st if I had to.

UFAs: Wennberg: I thought about going with Danault here but Wennberg was younger so I went with him instead.

Coleman: I just want him as a Bruin.

Martinez: I wouldn't be mad if this was a Suter signing instead. Self explanatory, real good top 4 dman, brings offensive upside to the d core. I think he would compliment well with both Mcavoy and Carlo.

Ian Cole: Add a little bit of size to the back end. I think there are probably better options to fill that LHD3 role but I just went with Cole.

Lastly I thought about adding Mark Pysyk to rebuild the 4th line. mainly because of his versatility that he can play the wing and right side of the d. Gives them flexibility/depth on the right side of the d as well.

Sorry if the trade value isnt close.

Speculation in the industry is that Coleman gets 6x5. Martinez stays in Vegas.

Suter wants 3-4 years, scaring teams off.

Scuttlebutt is Yandle and Forbort are the targets.

Not a bad roster. But needs more strength up the middle if they’d wanna contend. That’s what St.Louis had that they didn’t, and that’s what Vegas’ problem also is. Forget Coleman, give me a Philip Danault.

Not sure about Lohrei because he has yet to face tough competition, so it's hard to judge that offer.

I think I'd rather re-sign Reilly over bringing Yandle in, Forbort im okay with adding.

Can Danault play the wing? I know you could go DeBrusk-Danault-Coyle if he cant (if you cant sign Coleman then assume DeBrusk is staying).

The better quesiton is: Why would anyone ask him to?

Well I guess you could play Danault at 2C but then we're still looking at a hole at RW2-3 depending on where you'd slot in Smith. This was all considering a Krejci retirement so there would still be an extra hole to fill.

Okay, but if Krjci goes, there's two holes to fill anyway. Playing Danault on the wing would be a major waste.
