Totally get it, but I think it is a great piece for the blues, So I didn't ask for anything else and did a swap of picks.

Do you think isles go for this with Tarasenko's injury history?

Beau is overvalued on here but Isles shouldn’t do this

Is it a gamble? Yes. And I get Isles fans being cautious. But what if it does work out and he's a 30 goal scorer again. Beau may be too valuable in your eyes and that's fine, but after losing eberle, I think they need a goal scorer to compete, and if that only costs you a guy who has yet to reach the 20 goal mark in his career and the 40 point mark (yes I am aware that is a bit skewed with the past 56 game schedule) allowing you to clear roster space for bellows and Wahlstrom, plus add a guy who could be a point per game player in vladdy (health allowing) I would do it.

Coming from an isles fan, I don't hate it if thats the only thing the blues want. Id rather give up bellows and prospects or a higher pick than Beau but if we give up Beau then I think ST Louis will have to retain some of Vlad's salary. Otherwise gg

Re-signing Palmieri would be the move to replace Eberle's goal scoring. A Tarasenko trade would be a move the Isles make to add icing on the cake.

Trading a 24 year old cost controlled winger that scores at good rates in the playoffs and has been on 21 and 26 goal paces the past 2 seasons doesn't make sense for the Isles period. Let alone for like 6 extra goals IF Tarasenko is able to stay healthy. Not to mention the fact that Vlad would probably be walking at the end of the 2 years anyway because Barzal, Pulock, Mayfield, Dobson, and Wahlstrom will be expiring within the next 2 years.
