It would make a lot more sense to sign Granlund instead of Saad, because the C position is pretty weak. Everything else looks good.

Except we won't win Hamilton and 6M AAV for Saad that's kind a bit too much. I'm with u for Granlund.

Well it seems like we and New Jersey are the only teams with the cap space and will to give Hamilton $8+ million, and there isn’t much of a tax difference. Although it does seem like habs management doesn’t like Hamilton as much as I do, and might not be willing to offer him $9 million or more.

if montreal is in on Savard and that KHL guy then hamilton wont happen. Saad probably pulls like 4-4.75 x like 3 or 4 years from a team.

If they’re signing Savard for more than $3 million, not they won’t get Hamilton. But so far no credible source has said that they’re for sure signing him. Wideman shouldn’t be more than $1 million.

Im okay with Savard over Hamilton, only if they find a solid bottom pair RHD. Leaves room for capspace on forwards.
