100%. Just read Kase didn't get a QO either. Would love to take a swing on him too.

I think a center target is more likely but Kase would be good too.

Suter yes, Kase no. Pius in SJ makes a ton of sense.

Oh Suter is the priority all day long. Would just be cool to take shots on guys who could be potential steals.

Why not to Kase though? Like yes, it is a bit redundant, but Kase would be very low risk and potentially high reward. If he stays healthy, he's very good and will be cheap af.

You guys should be more concerned about when your president is going to be willing to rebuild. No point in spending money on these guys if you can’t make the playoffs.

I want to rebuild but the org doesn't. The decision isn't in the fans' control. We just work off the assumption that the team wants to do as well as possible.

I think that decision rests more in Plattner's hands than anyone elses.

If I were the Sharks owner, I would give the green light to sell off guys like Hertl and Meier and probably even guys like Burns and Karlsson so long as you retain most of their salary. At some point the front office has to acknowledge that the team isn’t in any state to win a cup, let alone compete for one, and they wont be any time soon. I just don’t see anyway that San Jose can reconstruct a Stanley cup roster. It seems like the right time to take a wrecking ball to the roster, gather as many 1st round picks and young prospects as possible and just restart. You see teams like Columbus, Arizona, and Buffalo doing it right now and it’s working.
