A lil confused about the Martin inclusion. NYI 4th line is pretty locked in. More likely Komarov. That package is too generous for us, definitely no 1st involved, maybe a 2nd or 3rd, but we retain then.

No to Getzlaf, he's likely not even considering us. We're better off extending Bozak for cheaper.

I don't think Forsberg is realistic, especially since he is going for a big payday next Summer, and Army doesn't do big name rentals. We can't afford to reup him.

i didn't think Blais and a 2nd for Buch was realistic but I was wrong. Martin because hes a LW. Nashville isn't going anywhere next year so they are probably cool with getting a bunch of prospects. 4 million covers a lot of raises due to Perron, Parayko and Forsberg. David may only require a million dollar raise. You could probably lock up Parayko with a 6.5 mill long term deal. Then you have Bortuzzo coming off the books. I can see Forsberg sticking for around 8 mill. By the time the next round of raises are up we will probably no longer have the flat cap.

That's dandy and all, but I can't see the Isles going along or Nashville handling us Forsberg.

What do you think it would take to pry Forsberg from Nashville? And couldn't we extend him right away?

First of all, I think we would have to not be the St. Louis Blues. The folks in Nashville really don't like us. Trading Forsberg to us would go over like a lead balloon.
