tatar's playoff numbers concern me

however, he's also a super skilled/excellent player who literally just had 61 points last season and could likely be had for cheap so idk

Agreed

My guess rn is either Tatar signs a 1-2 year deal between 2.5-3mill or Leafs sign Ritchie to a 2 year deal. This could change though if Kerfoot is moved which according to Pagnotta was still a possibility and 2 teams eying him were Seattle and Arizona

That said if Negotiations with Rielly dont go well could see a trade happen in August and maybe we see one or two guys nobody expected.

Kerfoot next to Matthews and Marner.

Interesting. I know he played with JT and Nylander at some points but will be interesting to see him next to the Duo. Was honestly thinking Bunting would play that role

that would not surprise me.....but if Kraken do want him hopefully we can get Appleton back for him

What about bringing in Saad? He did really well in the playoffs last season. What's his cost you think?

unless Dubas moves Kerfoot or acquires an LTIR contract then does that not happening

So I'm assuming that's with Kerfoot still on the roster. If they trade Kerfoot thats $7mill in cap space which would be enough to go after a guy like Saad.

Not really, If the leafs trade Dermott and send Amadio, Dahlstrom, Engvall, and Gabriel to the AHL they got 3.4mill. And thats with Liligren and brooks being extras. So without trading for a wing they can get 3.4 through 1 burial and moving Dermott along with just some ahl waivers.

Now if Both Kerfoot and Dermott are moved that 4.9mill in cap space.
