No, the sabres 2nd rounder will be top 5 in the second round, kerfoot is a good midde six forward who can replace bozak, and per the athletic the Tarasenko’s value has gone down quite considerably in the past weeks ( Seattle didn’t take him for free)

Kerfoot does not fit the Blues style of gritty players. They already have a better version of Kerfoot in Robert Thomas. More than that though, Doug Armstrong is not the type of GM to pay someone to take Tarasenko, so he certainly wouldn't eat any salary. Possibly, the Blues would make a deal and get Eichel from Buffalo in return. Buffalo could keep their 2022 pick and receive the Blues 2022 2nd rd pick.
