Description

Tatar will round out our top 6 group of forwards, with Bunting and Robertson being interchangeable on the 2nd and 3rd lines. Dermott and Mikheyev have to be dealt in order to be cap compliant, yielding TOR picks in the 2022 draft which they currently do not have. This roster carries 22 players, which provides one spare forward and 1 spare defenceman for road trips. TOR carried 21 players at times during the 2020-2021 season. The main question mark here is the Tatar deal. Is he willing to sign for more than 1 year? Will he accept $3.5mm?
