Minus neck injury I’d probably do it. Just can’t wrap my head around paying that much if he’s hurt. I’d rather see him play a full year healthy and make sure his neck is good before entertaining a trade for him.

That's a nice package for eichel, unfortunately he isn't going to get close to that. Adam's waited to long to deal him and now he pinned himself against free agency. A lot of the teams that maybe had the cap space to add 10mill have now filled out their rosters, which takes out a potential bidding war. My question is would he really keep eichel for another year if he doesn't get exactly what he wants.

As Forbesy said, Adams waited too long. Rangers just signed Nemeth to pair with Lundkvist, a kid who some are saying is the best defensive prospect in the league, he only broke all of Hedman and Karlsson's under 20 records in the SHL. He isn't being traded.

For Kakko to be traded the Sabres will need to retain salary, taking far less of a return, and that seems to be the sticking point from what I've heard. Likely some combination (3-4 pieces) of Chytil, Georgiev, Jones, Kravstov and a 1st are all that's being offered at this point. Just a matter if Sabres will go into this season with an unhappy captain, I can't see that happening, whether they trade him to use or someone else.

Agree with everything you said here. Seider might just be a little ahead of Nils, but a blue chip RHD for sure. I can't wait to see him play next year

I really like how things are being set up for Nils, 3rd pair with a stay at home Swedish veteran d-man... he should get favorable matchups and not be thrust into PK duty or going against 1st or 2nd lines. He should excel, I am praying he is the Zubov to Fox being our Leetch.

Absolutely agree, I'd love to see Nils on the 2nd power play too, but we'll see. They might let Trouba do that which is fine too

Only if we had traded ADA after getting swept in the bubble, as we all knew Nils was coming here eventually. I find it hard to believe we couldn't have gotten a 2nd and 3rd for the defenseman with the 4th highest points in the league that season, instead we got an 800 K cap hit next season and nothing. If Nils is what he projects to be, we never should have kept ADA in the first place, sell high and his value was never going to be higher.
