I like this signing as we were in need of depth at the blueline. Not sure if Chatfield will play any NHL games, but I like him as an extra defenseman. He is also young and still has a little bit more room to grow. I like this a lot. Thank you Waddell.

He only played a little bit in VAN but can skate well and has some "bite"/courage...
Good depth, as a 6/7 DMAN.

Reminded me of Bieksa-lite for his jam!
