Description

The chances of making the playoffs are still high. The Canes made some bizarre moves that don't make sense. Philly is supposed to make the playoffs in an even year. I think the Caps are still good enough. The Isles are stlll gonna be there and I'm still not personally sold on the Rags. It's a shame they lost McCann and Gaudreau. I think Jeff Carter's play will definitely not be as great (still good) as it was in his short time so far as a Pen. The loss of Tanev will be a big hit.

Here's my take: you should be happy that the first-round pick you traded away was this year's and not your 2022.

This team is worse right now than the one that left the ice in the playoffs. Same goaltending and a weakened forward group and no Ceci. If this is it before opening night I think we will definitely be making a trade or two before the deadline to try to make the playoffs.
