Rumor is Pelech wants to much money. The nyi can pay it but why would they. So the leafs over pay players and they can't pay Reilly 8 mil next year.

Nah, dubas signed all stars and over paid one. Lou signed 90 year old wingers and gave them full NMCs and bottom pairing defenders to 7 year 4.5 mill contracts, and 4th liners who were healthy scratches to 2.5 mill contracts.

Yeah, he took a team that snow built, added a bunch of terrible contracts, ended up getting peanuts for his best defender and signed obviously good goalies ans coaches.
