Engvall's not worth a 3rd

100%. Engvall is worth a waiver claim at best, these current Leafs threads of "Mikheyev and Engvall!!!" seem to just be a lazy way to try and make the cap work.

I actually like Mikheyev, imo he could fetch a 3rd. Engvall is a replacement level forward though

I don't know, maybe. They're both bottom 6 forwards, and there's plenty of those guys available for the league minimum right now as free agents. There's also not too many dopes out there that are going to say "Ah, I see that you need some help with the cap...perhaps I'll give you a pick for a replaceable player?

Well thats the thing, Mikheyev is still an above replacement level player IMO, hes a defensively sound 3rd line winger just on an expiring contract

LOL You'd be lucky to get a 5th round pick for Engvall. A 3rd rounder definitely isn't happening.
