Description

INTRODUCTION
- This was a simulated Mock Off-Season with the /r/hockeyoffseason21 group. Every team was user-controlled from July 1st to August 23rd. Every team had a GM, some had AGM's their were media members, commissioners, player agents etc.
- My goal for the simulation was to put the New York Islanders in the best chance to fight their way into the Stanley Cup Final. I think I succeeded in that.

That trade simulator isn't very realistic if it thinks that LA would have gone for that.

It was not a simulator. It was a live-league. Someone was in charge of the Kings and wanted Leddy + Boychuk together and we agreed on a 3rd Round Pick. I was shocked that they were willing to take them for a 3rd, but at the same time, they could flip Leddy at 50% retained for a 2nd or 1st at the deadline.

I went over the cap by using performance bonuses as an overage. You're allowed to exceed the cap by 7.5% of the Ceiling with PB's.
