the kid is 24, it's not a repeatable excuse because he is a star and he's supposed to perform but Mcdavid didn't do **** against the Jets. He was top 5 in points and one of the best skaters, passers and puck handlers in hockey.

and I could see doughty being the Bouwmeester/Hamuis of 2014 older but makes it off merit of being who they are not cause they are better

the doughty thought makes sense I just don't see him starting maybe a bench moral guy but that's it, and Suzuki I don't think is there yet, he's gonna get to that point, I just look at who around him and think non of those guys are superstar putting up a ppg

I look at it like he put up back to back 41 pts with out caufield on his line, with him full time on his line I could easily see him being at 70 next season, Max domi put up 72 with drouin and shaw not to long ago, so i hope the sky is the limit for suzuki

OML Caufield is not your savior at this moment he is gonna be very good but he's pre small, not saying you can't be good and small but to say that Caufield is the difference next season is bold

That's not at all what I said, I compared Domi being able to put up 72 points with worse linemates(Drouin/Shaw) to Suzuki having a combination of Anderson/Tofffoli and Caufield meaning he could/should easily match that output in a full regular season.

Suzuki was already on pace for 60pts last season in a regular 82 games and it was his second season, Having a true finisher like Caufield will only add to that production.
