I got that idea from a Blues fan and to be fair it solves some of their previous problems. They wanted Kraken to take Senko over Dunn - this way you get a Dunn replacement and rid yourselves of Senko's cap, and you add a pick and prospect in the process.

That's one way to say you don't watch Pens games. And to be fair neither do I, but statistically he's not bad. He's a defense oriented D-man. Nothing horrible about that.

Also STL have a D to replace Dunn is news to me. Who you got? Mikkola or Perunovich I assume?

In no way, shape or form is Pettersson anything approximating what Dunn did. And he's way more expensive with no real upside.

Young is subjective here, he's a week older than Pettersson... And statistically he's much, much worse. But he's cheaper and needs experience to grow into a good D. But saying Mikkola is better replacement for Dunn than Pettersson is almost grotesque.
