I think that's a lot of money and term for Palmieri. Pretty risky contract especially the last 2 years.

There are Blues fans offering Bailey for Tarasenko straight up with retention to equal oht. I am being generous here

I'll let you in a little secret... (whispers)... a signifcant percentage of Blues fans have, shall we say, sub-par ideas about rating players, how they'd fit in the team, etc. There is zero chance the Blues agree to the offer you have above. Nor should they. Bailey is not the type of player they need and his total cap amount is exactly the same as Tarasenko's (just spread over one more year). This would basically be the Isles getting Tarasenko for Bailey's salary/cap hit and the Blues getting Baily for Tarasenko's cap hit - that ain't gonna fly. And Holmstrom is a weak skater that wouldn't hold much interest.

Bro im just being realistic stop saying its not unless a trade happens beforehand we have to take back a low cap hit like a hickey, aho, or komorov
