Thanks! That makes a little more sense than! Still seems like they created a 2022 problem when there was likely a simpler/cheaper option

Not really. Smiths contract expires, so try and keep him cheaper or thats his replacement

Tuch isn't out for the season, but he is out for 6-monts from last week. Will be back no later than February. So VGK will have to make a move to get cap compliant with about $37K to move. But not that hard - likely Howden can be waived without real worry about it.
