    You don't think Bergy will take a team oriented discount to try and win another Cup? That's insane if you think he's going to ask for $7.25M for a 3-year extension.

    Hes been underpaid for years and you think hes gonna sign another contract well below his worth, thats insane. You really think its fair to tell this guy he has to take less than charlie coyle or taylor hall. That stuff doesn't happen.

    Both of those players signed deals in their "prime." Bergy is approaching the twilight of his career and has been his entire career. Can't see that changing now.
