There’s no way Montréal’s 1st is that high, and we also don’t have any cap space to add Dumba.

I think they can make it work which now that I think about I didn’t do a Gn with them to see how it would play out. I just don’t think they are making the playoffs so they should land around that 14 range. Not signs chariot and Weber being on LTIR I would think they could make it work next offseason. Hard to say what they can do when they are most likely making some moves before this season starts.

The habs need to re-sign Suzuki next year with only Chiarot & Kulak coming off the books, so that will take up a lot of the cap flexibility we can muster.

If Montréal misses the playoffs, we’re likely challenging our 96 point record for most points by a non-playoff team. 15th overall is the absolute highest I could see is picking, unless we win the lottery, in which case we’d be picking 5th or 6th.

Wild aren't trading dumba especially this year. As been reported, especially after wild lost Ryan suter and Carson soucy, gm Guerin doesn't, and isn't willing to move dumba.

- that offer doesn't get dumba if he was available

Unless wild gm moves off his ask, dumba will be resigned for less, or he gets his ask before dumba's two year contract ends. Also depends on Wild's record this upcoming season and dumba's continued improvement, or not
