Dont trade Puljujärvi until we actually get to see how good he is. Sure he had a rough transition to the NHL, but dont forget this guy was the world juniours MVP getting 17 points in 7 games. So before we trade him for something we might not even need lets wait and see how Jesse turns out.

Also not worth our first round pick for a rental. I doubt we even shop our first round pick

Fair enough. Thought here is that McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH, and Eberle will all play in the top six. Two are no-brainers. The other two are difficult contracts to move. Puljuarvi is a luxury given his position while Hanifin projects to fill a need. But I can see it both ways.

Yeah... but low 1st in a weak draft getting back a mid-3rd almost makes it a 2nd. Maybe make it a 3rd becoming a 1st if Boyle resigns. He is exactly the type of player they need in the 3/4 centre slot.

This is one of the first puljuarvi trades I'm not mad about if we can bring in a defencive prospect like hanifin it might be worth it still iffy tho and the other trade is over payment no point over paying this year we have a big window to win cups no point making that window shorter in the first year

Im against trading puljujarvi. If he develops well he could be a sniper on connors wing. He also may be able to one-time the puck on the PP, which is good since the only person who seems capable of doing that on the team is Letestu
