Not an Oilers fan - forward group is A+ (top 5 in league) but d corps and goalies are both bottom 5.

Goalies were number 7 in the league i think Last year.

I thought they were 19th (Sv%)? And smith a year older with an even worse defense (defensively speaking) than last year

Koskinen didnt play well in the first 11 games because he played all of them and we know from experience already that he only plays well under low work load. When smith came back his save % was .910.

They were 19th in sv% at 5v5. In all situations they were 7th in the league.

The same goalies allowed the 12th fewest GA/GP over the past 2 years despite facing the 21st fewest shots against. How is that bottom-5? tears of joy

He was .910 even including that fiasco. From February 8 - May 2nd he posted .929 sv% - those last 4 games dropped his "tandem" sv% to .910.
