What Do People Think DeBrusk Is Worth

Created by: ConnorMcJesus_
Team: 2021-22 Custom Team
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 22, 2021
Published: Aug. 22, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
He's not worth more then a low second round (16-32) and a B level prospect.

What would the Oilers have to give up? I think a 2022 or 2023 second and William Lagesson for DeBrusk (750k-950k) retained and a 6th.

Bruins get cap relief and get a 3rd line/Top pair AHL defender.

Oilers get a Top9 forward who still has a bit of potential.

He'd fit great in Edmonton. He was born in Edmonton and his Dad works with the Oilers already.

Sounds about right to me...if he stinks again this year, he'd be a non-tender candidate since he has a $4.85m qualifying offer.

The thing is, at the moment that might be what EDM gives up - But why would the bruins do it? They can save cap by sending down Wagner/Moore and they don’t really have a great replacement for him at the moment. If Krejci came back and they needed space I would get it but right now unless they package him for a C, there’s really no point in moving him.
