Imagine that goalie also being the best goalie of the generation...(From Players/Coaches, who actually play against them)

Then imagine him taking all the teams put in front of him to any success they've had over the last 10 years...

Then Imagine he was the first goalie to win the hart in over 15 years, while also winning 3 other trophies

Then Imagine he had an amazing playoffs to bring the org to the first cup final in over 25 years

I could care less how much price makes, he's made MTL hockey easy to watch over the last 10+ years.

But what I'm trying to say is Price earned his money and didn't complain and draw out the negotiations wanting more.

Lundqvist > Price and he never reached $10m. They're lucky to even made the playoffs in the first place due to covid division changes....

Cool story bro, they both have the same amount of SCF appearances and outside of 3 years lundkvist had alot better teams in front of him..

I have to respectfully disagree with u there. Of the 11 playoff appearances he had with the rangers he single handily drug them there for at least 5 of those years. The underlying numbers on Hank are absolutely ridiculous. He faced hundreds more high danger chances then anyone in that time period, it's not close. Having said that, I love Price. You can't go wrong with either guy, both HOF goalies, first ballot

Henrik- GP 887 W-459 W% 52% GAA2.43 SV%.918 SO 64 shot per game-29
Price- GP 707 W-360 W% 51% GAA2.50 SV%.917 SO 49 shots per game-29

They are both amazing goalies how do you argue these stat lines? How do you argue who’s better? So my question is how do you argue who was a better goaltender when they have almost identical stats? The only difference is Price was drafted 5th overall and Lundqvist was 205th, but who cares about draft position.

You act like the teams in front of the goalies have no effect on how stats would look, Price had terrible teams and still put up those numbers..
