No chance does he come that far under Svech, if at all. I'd be shocked if he comes under 7.5mil.

Apparently he wants a 3 year deal cause he wants to play for a contender... Guess it's time to make Chabot captain.

Think they were waiting for the Svech deal to come in. Svech could have easily got something like 8.5mil. Likely didn't want to go too far into long term talks without knowing that number.
