i wouldnt say its no problem, Horvat probably gets 7.5, Hoglander will get 6.5-7 if he breaks out which i think he will, hughes out of a bridge probably gets 10-11, Boeser 7-7.5, Miller 7.5-8. Its not as easy as you think it is

hughes isnt getting 11mil
i say 9 at most

The Habs are no better off. Remember, Suzuki, Romanov, and Caufield aren’t staying on ELC forever

Im not sure Romanov gets more than 3-4 im not too high on him. Id assume suzuki gets 7-7.5 same with caufield. its easier for them than The canucks

No it’s not lol. They are against the cap. Where does the 7.5 mil for both of them come from?

No leverage because of down year and the fact that he is an RFA and can’t even be given an offer sheet. 7 mil for a bridge dea

im not talking about his bridge deal AAV, im talking about his potenital AAV after the bridge, also seth jones is awful. Quinn Hughes is miles ahead of him.

And what stops Canucks? All the buyout penalties and dead cap will be gone in a couple years. We are fine

Also, don’t forget that you have to replace those guys. It’s gonna be hard to find a first pairing d man for chesp

seth isnt awful he just isnt top 10 a defenseman
if u sign quinn to a long term deal like 8 years i see him getting 10mil but on like a 4-5year i see 9

I doubt Vancouver would match this. The 4 1sts are more than Buffalo's ask for Eichel and 11m AAV for Petey is awfully high. They'd be better off in this case letting Pettersson go and making a serious play for Eichel, a better center at a lower cost.

Lehkonen is not worth a 3rd and the Pens only have $121,000 in available cap space so even if they wanted to make that trade they couldn't.
