VGK needs a 1C now; the value is fair as their 1st is only somewhat valuable and Tuch is also hurt.

I'd still argue that even if he is, if they want Eichel they going to need to. They can clutch their pearls all they want but even Eichel at 80% is far better than Krebs. Their reasoning was because of past regrets; if they get past that then he's likely a major piece.

Well then they are rather stupid to be perfectly honest. Barring Krebs literally putting up 60 points as a rookie; it will take him 2 or 3 years to turn into a dependable Top 6 C and by then most of their core will be in their early to mid 30s or outright gone. With all the other trades they have made throwing caution to the wind; you’d think that they’d certainly do that to get a 1C.

Just my two cents on Vegas, who just so you understand I do sorta like.

I mean Krebs is 20 and is like a top 10 prospect in the league right now, its bot uncommon for someone with his potential to have an excellent rookie year, especially with the sheltering Vegas can provide him
