Description

GMTM swaps a forward prospect for a LHD prospect with NHL potential.

Catenacci has a max of 29 points in his best season in Rochester, where as Bodie has had 30 or more points for the last 3 consecutive years, and Bodie has a chance at hitting 40-50 points this year in the AHL as a defenseman, great trade by GMTM IMO.

For it just being a swap of AHLer's, I'd rate this trade as a 10/10 on the Sabres side.

It's an AHL deal. So....meh.

But the Sabres definitely need help (even in the form of warm Bodies...see what I did there?) on the blueline. So getting one for a forward that was never going to make it at the big club is fine with me.

I like it. low risk. catenacci wouldn't have played another game in a sabres uni and we need depth on defense anyway possible.

Or he could be a temporary replacement for kulikov until the off-season once hes traded
