Don’t disrespect Spezza like that, he’s honestly a Leafs legend at this point. This guy could go out there and get more money but he’s stuck around consistently for league minimum for 3 years!

I'm not disrespecting Spezza besides... I just traded him to Ottawa for fun. Instead of Scratching or burying him in the Minors.

Why would you scratch Spezza?? He's one of your best players right now. With minimal ice time - and playing with complete PLUGS - he was top 6 among forward scoring during the regular season and (other than Nylander) was your best looking forward in the playoffs. If he hadn't been such a "I'll retire if claimed off waivers" baby, which made me lose all respect for him, the Leafs wouldn't even have him anymore.

Also ARI, LAK and CAR all decline.
