Description

Based trade-off of the Nate Schmidt and Nikita Zadorov trades. I think both Zadorov and Schmidt are better, thus the later round pick and the 7th is just kind of a throw-in. I like Beaulieu's size, puck-moving ability, and ability to play on the power play.

I think we will see Bolduc at some point this season, but not Salo. While Salo is more offensive, it is going to take him some time to get accustomed to the NA ice surface. Bolduc also stood out at camp last summer and did well in the AHL last season.

At the TDL, if the team is underperforming/needs help in a certain area, I think we see Bellows packaged with a pick(s) and shipped off somewhere. Unless he can improve his game all around. Obviously, Trotz didn't like what he saw from him last season.

Golyshev is my dark horse for the 3rd line LW spot. I think we see him in the AHL to start the season and by end of November, he will be in the NHL and challenging Parise/Bellows for the spot. (Just hope it doesn't turn into a Jan Kovar situation)

I think I am also missing Andy Greene's bonuses from last season that count towards this year's cap for some reason but I am unsure how that works.
