What kind of player is Gusev?
A shooter/goal scorer or a play maker?

I wouldn't want to lose Katchouk or Raddysh to waivers to simply sign Gusev but that's me.

He can do both. He doesn't have a hard shot, but he's great at getting a well placed one-timer off and has great vision for passes. He also has decent hands.

But he's very slow, poor defensively and didn't have much effort behind his play last season. Ruff's system made that look even worse.

Whatever Kuch needs him to do. I remember 18-19 WC when Gusev and Kuch played on the same line. Was fun to watch.

I know it won't happen, but you know... It could work.
