1. The only teams that can take Kane are the 3 teams that are on his trade list.

If the Sharks want to trade him to any of the other 28 teams, Kane will just veto it.

2. This is my guess as to which 3 teams are on his trade list:

Vancouver Canucks: The NHL team closest to his boyhood home

Vegas Golden Knights: The NHL team that is based in the biggest gambling hub in North America and is in the NHL jurisdiction with the lowest taxes.

Philadelphia Flyers: The NHL team that is a 1 hour drive from Atlantic City, the second biggest gambling hub in North America.

3. Apparently, Mrs. Kane was only talking smack.

She didn't realize she almost destroyed the family's biggest source of income
