Im sure all the teams fans will come and crap on all the deals, but you really arent asking for a lot for those players, Staal will be a wait and see if he plays as good as last year, and if he does then sure, I doubt Leddy gets 2 / 2nds? but with retention he has a little value

Staal has an NMC and has been pretty vocal about liking Detroit and want to stay in Detroit. I'm pretty sure that has something to do with the cost of living being 50% less in Detroit than in NY. Since he played in every game and averaged over 18min a game I don't see Detroit having a problem keeping him around. Plus with DDK's back I'm not sure he makes it to the end of the season. I do think Leddy, Namestnikov, Gagner and Rowney get traded but not until the TDL. Like digitalbath I don't think the returns are very accurate and for that we will have to wait and see. I'm not big on Petterson with his contract but Petterson and a 1st for Fabbri I'd do but there is no way Pittsburgh does it. As I said in another post if Fabbri goes I think Detroit would like a center or center prospect in return.
