Leafs decline. MAYBE Wood could get a 1st if he was traded this year with 50% retained. For RFA rights? No chance.

$4.5x6 for a 3rd line center? No. Copp is great, but not a fit.

Jack taking 3m even for 1 year is not happening.

Leafs seem logical to fill some of the void lost by Hyman.

I don't mind the Copp signing, but not for six years.
Mercer or Sharangovich should be 3C down the line.
