Description
Couple optimistic/lucky/unlikely but not impossible trades. Win the lottery because that would be the most optimistic/lucky/unlikely thing to happen. Palhal your hatred of Howard is well documented. Nobody cares. Go away. We'll bring Jagr to the classic Detroit retirement home. Hearing rumors he's fed up with Cats management. He always wanted to play with Pav and Z. Enough capspace to let Kronwall keep playing but most likely will LTIRetire. Also enough to sign, Mrazek, Fowler, Larkin, and Mantha the following year.

Lines:
Put the rookie with Z and Goose who love playing with each other.
Let the young bright wingers flank the responsible vet.
Sticking Jagr with two bright young superstars has worked well in the past.
This 4th line when used properly has worked wonders in the past as a shutdown line.

Pairs:
Holy **** an actual top pairing.
Let these two go back to their comfort zone (2nd pairing) and watch them excel. Hopefully those with unreasonable hate boners for DDK will remember how good he's been the previous 3 years. BUT WHAT HAS HE DONE FOR ME LATELY!!!!!! God damn such bad memories. Yes I'm bitter.
Very serviceable, very cheap, great for the 3rd pairing.

Swap Larkin and AA on the 2nd powerplay depending on who's playing better at the time.

    Yea, Shattenkirk is going in the northeastern quadrant of the US. Most likely NYR, then Boston, and then a few teams vying for the participation badge. Maybe the Caps have a shot if they manage to clear cap space, which means shedding one or both of Orpik and Niskanen

    Nice theory about the Canes, but there are cheaper ways to obtain a draft eligible Dman that taking on Ericsson.

    Not sure that Vegas can win the lottery? Heard the best they can do is 3rd and the worst 6th, But could be wrong at least that's what's being reported any ways.

    The only way we're netting 4th round pick for Howard is salary retention? Howard at half off or $2.65 million per for 2 years shoud net us a 2018 3rd or 4th round pick.

    Look. The wings need to finish at the bottom of the league for the next two years like torono. If they don't tank they will not properly rebuild and will never win a cup. Signings like shatenkirkand jagar will make them a contender . The wings need a full rebuild and im sick and tired of fans wanting them to make a push next year.
