You'll probably be able to get more out of a retained Rust. SDA is a long shot to play in the NHL at all and Liljegren's stock has dropped significantly, people hope for him to be a future 2nd pair. For a guy who's gone pretty close to a point per game for the last 2 seasons, I'd expect more even as a rental.

I'm not sure why you are interested in SDA but I'd take him out and replace him with a high round pick, a 2nd will probably pass the fans examination on here but I have a feeling it would really be a 1st because there would be a lot of interest in Rust.
