Description

Line 1: Bunting - Matthews - Marner

If Bunting plays the way he did in Arizona as a top 6 winger, I am excited to see what he can bring to Matthews and Marner. Play that pest, Marchand style of game, and you will become a fan favourite

Line 2: Nylander - Tavares - Ho Sang

An all skilled line that will keep the puck in the offensive zone. Ho Sang never got a chance with the Isles, I want to see what he can do in Toronto

Line 3: Ritchie - Kampf - Kase

Ritchie and Kase had chemistry with one another, dating back to the Anaheim days. They complemented one another and adding in Kampf can be an 'anything you want' type of line. You want goal scoring? Kase and Ritchie can provide you with goals, more from Kase than Ritchie but you get the point. You want a shut down line? Kampf can bring that shutdown presence while Ritchie plays a powerful game

Line 4: Kerfoot - Spezza - Mikheyev/Simmonds

Capable of playing four lines. The fourth line would be better than most team's third line

I wanna see a K-K-K (Kerfoot-Kampf-Kase) line, for obvious reasons, but also because they’d be able to score and play responsible defence.

I would do that if Ho Sang doesn't make the team

I like the line-up. The 1 thing I’ve never liked was Nylander on the left side. Didn’t he play there with Tavares before and looked lost?

From what everyone is saying about Robertson, sounds like he should have another year. Spezza said that he needs to use his line mates a lot more. I would give him either half or full season stint in the AHL
