Great signing and exactly the type of young D man we needed on the right side. Hopefully he can fill out a bit more and be a better 2 way D man.

Why was he let go by Winnipeg? Just to create roster space? I think its a great signing for depth, at worst it doesn't work out and they let him walk

From what I read they Jets talked to Niku and told him he wasn't part of the future with their depth at RD and Niku asked to be released so he had control over where he went and the Jets obliged and we benefitted lol.
