Looks like a good Montreal team. Hope that Max gets back from his knee injury. I've always enjoyed watching him play. One of the great bargains for a team at 4.5m a year on a long term deal.

yeah, definitely one of the best contracts in the league. This team can do some damage if Chucky can take the next step as a center and if Semin can have a bounce back year

Strange that Parenteau was bought out by Montreal and right now he projects as the top right winger on the Leafs. Just asking, do you thinks the Habs overspent for Petry? Seems like the classic....we have to sign our own free agents at anycost.

I'd say just a tad, but established top 4 D on the UFA market are gonna cost big money, and if you don't have any good rfa's in your system from drafting well- you're forced to go that route
