Description

If all active players that passed through the Blue Jackets system were still there. This could be any player selected with a pick they once owned, players on their current roster, and players who were once on the roster, including the minors.

Tried to find all the notable players, but probably missed some good ones. Obviously didn't care about the Cap here.

It’s also just absolutely insane to me that Jarmo was able to turn Johansen into Jones, get 5 years of his prime and be a real contender for a few years, then turn him into Sillinger, Boqvist, Bean and a first rounder next year.

Jarry was selected with a pick that the Jackets owned, so I count it as technically passing through the system. More of a "what-if" thing. I frankly just forgot Johansen and Savard were on the team and missed them in the trades/signings from the jackets. Consider them there. As for Carter, I didn't think he would be a valuable addition to the roster and definitely wouldn't be above anyone there, so I left him off.

That’s a pretty big stretch for Jarry. He was never under contract nor did the team even have his rights, but it’s just a hypothetical so whatever. A better choice IMO would have been McElhinney. Also, by that criteria of choosing players, Jamie Benn was also taken with a pick that was traded by the Jackets, and so was Sean Couturier, and others.

Honestly, I know everyone hate Carter, but he’s still pretty good. I’d take him over RyJo, Domi right now.

You're right, I missed Couts and Benn. As for Carter, I just figured he wouldn't make as much of an impact as Domi or Roslovic (if that's who RyJo is).
