Svechnikov has been really good in these pre-season games so far, too bad Maurice can't build a line to save his life, Copp was dead weight out there tonight with Svech and PLD, should've had one of Vesalainen or Harkins with PLD and Svechnikov, Copp should've been with Nash and one of those AHL guys.

I think the plan there is to put ehlers with svech and pld. They would be a really good trio. Copp showed today that without ehlers, he’s outplayed for that top 6 role. Svechnikov looked much better on the other wing.

I'm not sure what the end plan is but I hope it doesn't involve Copp being in the top six, even top 9 is too far up the lineup for him imo.

Vesalainen has looked pretty solid so far, really good the last two games especially.
