NO TAXI SQUAD THIS YEAR BUT THESE ARE THE GUYS THAT THEY CAN CALL UP ANYTIME - COULD SEE DERMOTT GETTING TRADED IF SANDIN MOVES UP AND IF TL CAN PLAY - THE LEFT SIDE WILL HAVE ALL TOP 3 CHANGE BASED ON CHEMISTRY - RITCHIE IS A FIXTURE ON THE FIRST LINE. I THINK BROOKS BRINGS MORE TO THE TABLE THAN ENGVALL SO HE GOES ON WAIVERS AND PROBABLY GETS CLAIMED.

    Dermott wouldn't get traded. The Leafs depth on defense goes off a cliff after their 1st spare.

    I think the Leafs try and squeeze Simmer through waivers like they did Spezza last year. I think thats why they gave him two years and a NTC, teams are less likely to claim him

    Sorry about the caps didn't notice - Dermott didn't have a great camp - I think later in the year if TL and Dermott aren't great 6 - 7 - Kyle picks up a grizzly grinder defenseman for the playoffs. Simmer through waivers maybe - a lesser role for him this year probably brings better results / expectations on the 4th line.

    I agree with Brooks over Engvall. I don't think Muzzin will play the right side though. I think this is pretty close to the guys who make opening night, not sure I agree on the line combos but we will see.

    I'll be curious if Engvall actually gets claimed if they put him on waivers. Given his cap hit it's possible he would clear.

    I think 10% if he clears goes towards the cap - I agree I don't think they know about the left side at all it will be a work in progress. What do you do with Kerfoot if Ilya doesn't preform could see Kerfoot going on the left side with JT and Nylander - Kamp as 3c and Brooks as a 4c
