I keep seeing these Eichel to Calgary trades (heck even I made one) and it's all the same.
"Monahan (flipped for more assets), Dube (ready to play), Zary (key piece) and an early pick or two.
It just makes so much sense BUT ONLY if it happens in the offseason.

Eichel needs to be healthy and ready to compete right away
And before Calgary fans jump at me saying "but we need to resign blah blah blah"
Relax. If Tampa or Toronto has taught us anything about the cap it's that it can be manipulated. And you're getting an all-star top-line center for a few more years.

Anyways I like the return for Buffalo but I think Minnesota puts the better package together for Monahan
