I think it’s a perfect chance for them to keep their top pick and if they win the lottery they have two top centers to really charge their rebuild

This makes no sense for Arizona. They’re basically giving up everything they’d surround Jack with, so they’d just be recreating the situation he’s in already. The plan is to accumulate top picks and prospects, then go after matthews in 3 years. They’re not deviating from that plan so if getting matthews doesn’t work out, they still have a ton of young core talent
