Extremely doubtful TB remotely considers this trade. Why would they trade their best player at weakest position for a guy who plays a spot they have too many guys than spots not saying the value isn't fair it just makes absolutely no sense position wise for TB. Foote Cernak is going to be their long term right side

Tampa easily declines that offer, Cernak isn't remotely available And it's doubtful he'd get dealt within the division anyways.

@mart can you explain that?

"7th are a joke as we think PD like 2023 7th"

Also, forget it "Forsberg for a 2nd", unless he has a crazy season I guess and showshe might be a starter (doubtful)

And Tampa Bay shouldn't trade Cernak... if they do a high 1st would be a good thing but I doubt they want to start "rebuilding" (aka trading actual players for futures)

PD has 3 2023 7th as at the Deadline we traded Coburn and Gudbranson for 7th and at the time we thought it was weird that he chose that year as 2021 and 2022 have deep drafts. I assumed that Tampa could use that first to get a player on the market as Tampa has done. they traded JT away and cernak might want to get paid and with the flat cap they may be in tight.
