Because I have a scouting job, I watch a ton of AHL games. I’ve watched every Laval game and a second time the following day.
While I get where you are going and I do think you are on the right track all four players need more seasoning. The closest for a call up is pezzetta. He has really played well. An area he has improved is his PK game. He’s been sensational killing penalties. He hits and is not afraid to drop the gloves.
RHP had a slow start to his season. Only in his last 3 games has he been more noticeable. Same can be said about Ylonen. His skating is NHL ready but he began slow. The coach had to break up that line. Ylonen had his two best games the last two games. So both need time.
Poehling is interesting because people put higher expectations because he’s a 1st rounder. He’s not flashy but efficient. His faceoffs, awareness, speed are all very good. He has a better shot than people give him. He’s coming back from an injury. He just needs more time.
All four should be with Habs in a year or two.
